Day Twenty Nine

Michael,

People talk about faith, but with a lack of trust.

They put their trust in a locker and it lives in the deep dark recesses never to be let out.

People talk about losing faith; but, in actuality, they’ve lost their trust.

In a crisis you pray that God will soften your problem.

You really hope that He solves it. your way…
Rather than putting your trust in God and trusting His way.

It reminds me of aClassic joke…

A guy rolls off a cliff…
Grabbing furiously at a bunch of tree roots that are slippery
as he continues to fail to grab hold of anything…He yells out: “Help!” to the top…

He hears a voice in reply: “I’m here!”

“Who are you?” he croaks…

“God” is the reply.

“Anybody up there with you?”

Lack of trust.

You my friend…live with your trust…live by your trust…
and in doing so…always walk away whole.
