When you read this you will be on your adventure. I know you are giving it your all. Enjoy the people, the scenery and the adventure you have undertaken that will undoubtedly rejuvenate your soul. Enjoy every step taken, and each story told by countless strangers. You will treasure them forever.
We became buddies 23 years ago. You are the only member of that City Council that I communicate with regularly and has remained a friend. Someone I know that will always lend a hand or a word of wise encouragement. I wish I was with you. I hope God grants me the time to follow in your footsteps.
