Day Eleven

—Hey Dad,
By the time you’re reading this you’ve probably put some mileage into the Camino. I thought about it and I don’t want to be the first note you receive, but I don’t want it to be the last either. I think the perfect spot would be somewhere in the middle. Maybe right after a tough day, when you might be slow to start the journey. Just wanted to let you know that I love you. We’ve had our ups and downs sure, but I want you to know that there is no one I’d rather have at my back for life. I’m happy that you’re my Dad and proud of you for walking the Camino. Now go enjoy the sights and people, and we’ll see you when you and Mom are back.
