Day Ten

Hey Mike,
Shannon has told me that you are embarking on the Way of St. James.  What an absolutely cool thing to do.  Your friendship has meant a lot to me in the past.  Although we have not seen each other in some time, I still do think about you and our early days of sobriety and how blessed we were to find each other.  You were very young when you came into the program and look what you have accomplished during your life!  I would say most came as a result of practicing the principals of Alcoholics Anonymous in all (or at least most) of your affairs.  They say this journey on which you are embarking is a cleansing of the soul and body.  
I frankly envy your ability to do this.
