I watched the movie “The Way” several years ago and so wanted to plan two weeks to do the last portion of the way of Saint James. You are off on an incredible journey. I’m so excited for you!
Your birthday is fast approaching –another milestone year. Celebrate everything wonderful about you! I love who you are and so proud to be you sister. I so enjoy your presence- your energy, humor, wit and laugh! Your inner child is so wonderful. God created you beautifully.
I truly believe the gifts of the 12 Step Program has brought us closer together. I am so grateful for you. It is because of you, I found Al-Anon and the Serenity Prayer. There is such a sense of belonging, all because of you. I am forever grateful.
In the Big Book my favorite quote (pg 169) is “Serenity is directly proportional to my acceptance and inversely proportional to my expectations.”
May you continue to live a life filled with serenity.
